  • Preco Bypass Unit
    • ByPass Odorization uses the higher pressure gas supply from upstream of regulation to introduce odorant vapors into a lower pressure line
    • This is accomplished by diverting, or bypassing, upstream gas through an odorant filled tank, mixing the gas with odorant vapors
    • This odorant saturated bypass gas is then returned to the downstream line where it blends in the gas flow
    • Traditionally this type of odorization has not been very accurate due to a fixed delivery method
    • Preco has refined this process by controlling the amount of flow going through the system
    • Allowing the end user to only inject the amount of odorant necessary for the flowing conditions
