First Cut Design and Fabrication offers turnkey fabricated solutions for natural gas transmission and distribution companies. Every job offers custom engineering and design, fabrication, and a complete record turnover package to include as-built drawings, material specifications and conformance certificates, X-ray reports, and pressure test documentation.
Prefabricated units can be skid mounted and delivered onsite. Products are built by certified pipeline welders and can be X-ray inspected and/or pressure tested. First Cut will also paint to your specifications, add instrumentation- tubing and electrical components if desired, or any other customer specified items. |

Flow Meter Group, FMG
|
The FMG-LP meters operate from 17-38,000 acfh at pressure up to 285 psig. Installation stresses caused by connected piping are minimal due to the robust design and construction of the casing and cartridge. Square impellers and improved positioning of main bearings and shafts make the meter less susceptible to overload and pressure shocks. These meters do have a compact exchangeable aluminum cartridge allowing for local repair and on-site cleaning.
The FMG-HP rotary meter is very suitable for city gate stations due to the large rangeability of 1:100, and a max operating pressure of 1480. Square impellers and improved position of the main bearings makes this cartridge style meter very robust and less sensitive to flow and pressure shocks. |

This regulator works extremely well at gate stations, as district regulators, and in industrial applications. PRECO, Inc. was founded in 1969, primarily as a custom specialty equipment company. In 1997, PRECO began building natural gas odorizers. Odorizers are now the primary focus of the company due to there unique design and low maintenance products.
ByPass Odorization uses the higher pressure gas supply from upstream of regulation to introduce odorant vapors into a lower pressure line. Preco has simplified and refined this process on lines less than 225 psi by controlling the amount of flow going through the system, allowing the end user to only inject the amount of odorant necessary for the flowing conditions.
The PRECO Pump Unit is available for higher pressures and can be equipped with a variety of options.
